A mixture is composed of 2 or more different elements/compounds that are not combined chemically.
What are the two types of mixtures?
Homogeneous and heterogeneous.
What is a homogeneous mixture?
A homogeneous mixture has a uniform composition and properties throughout. It is also called a solution.
What is a heterogeneous mixture?
A heterogeneous mixture does not have uniform composition and properties throughout.
