Q

What the actual fuck is inertia and why am i only hearing about it now?

A

An object’s inertial mass measures how difficult it is to change the velocity of an object. Inertial mass is just the ratio of force over acceleration.

Hey Bea, Why don’t you try and learn the electromagnetic spectrum the day of your GCSE exam because your a fucking idiot? Go ahead, fuckface.

Q

What are Radio waves and How are they used?

A

They are made up of alternating currents of electric and magnetic fields. They are fucking stressing me out. Little oscillating bastards. They are long-wave radio lengths (1-10km) so they can diffract ( bend) so they can travel halfway around the earth by curving and round hills and into tunnels, so they are mainly used for communication. Short- wave radio signals (10m-100m) are what blue tooth uses and what TV and FM radio use.

Q

What are Microwaves?

A

Microwaves are used by satellites. They do that whole transmitter to space satellite to satellite dish thing. Microwave ovens use a different wavelength from satellites, because they need to be absorbed by water molecules in food, which causes it to heat up.

Q

What is Infrared?

A

It’s given out by every object, the hotter the object, the ore is given out. Infrared cameras turn this into an electrical current to make heat specific colours. It can cook things, as absorbing it causes something to heat up. Its also what’s in electric heaters.

16
Q

What does visible light do?

A

Fibre Optic Cables use Visible Light to Transmit Data. Optical fibres are thin glass or plastic fibres that can carry data such as visible light. They work because of reflection.

17
Q

What is Ultraviolet Radiation?

A

It causes flourescence. Flourescence is a property where ultra violet is absorbed and then visible light is emmitted. Flourescent lights generate UV radiation which is turned to visible by a layer of phosphorus. UV radiation is produced by the sun and gives you a suntan.

18
Q

How are X rays and Gamma Rays used in Medicine?

A

X rays can pass through flesh but not bones or metal. X rays and Gamma Rays are used to kill cancer, as they can kill all cells in large doses, so they are specifically directed to the cancer cells. These can be dangerous, so radiographers where lead coats and stand behind a lead screen or leave the room.

19
Q

Harms of EM radiation.

A

A bunch of bad shit. Radio waves don’t do shit but UV rays can make your skin get clapped make you go blind and give you cancer. X rays and Gamma Rays can cause genetic mutation, cell destruction and cancer holy fuck this is stressful.

20
Q

Sieverts are fucking stupid so why don’t you memorise what they are?

A

They are a measure the risk of harm from the body being exposed to a certain dose of radiation. They show that the chest is more subject to harm than the head. 4 times more.

21
Q

Utra ound in medicine?

A

Can’t completely pass through two different medias so it changes from the womb juice to the foetus skin and makes an image i dont care.

22
Q

Seismic Waves?

A

They are caused by earthquakes and Explosions.

23
Q

Do that whole magnetism bullshit from your book.

A

I hate physics.

24
Q

Do the space bullshit from your book too.

A

You’re doing great.

25
Q

remember why you are doing this.

A

Pretty soon, you can be free, and you can find out if he really feels the same way.
