How to structure this question

Both poems, although written decades apart can be regard as lyric poetry which is usually written in the first person and which expresses personal emotions and feelings- popular in 19th and 20th Century influenced by Romantic poets such as Keats
1) Unpick the question
Think of a big similarity

In modern society, love is associated with irrationally and being ‘blind’ which means couples are immune to sensibility unlike pre-1900, where admiration could only happen from afar and relationships were seen as strictly for the production of children

1st paragraph- ……’s passion, outpouring of love is achieved in the first line/stanza by a series of similes, metaphors creating images of happiness EXAMPLE
It seems that the poet is searching for the right words to express how her heart feels but cannot
compare opening lines of the poems similarities/ difference and the overall structure such as rhyme scheme, form e.g. sonnet or dramatic monologue

2nd paragraph- In …….. the speaker can be said to be ‘blind’ ( talk about what’s going on in the poem) as they are absorbed with passion
