Include a theme throughout, e.g. a theme of water (“flowed”, “splashed”, “tsunami of people”),
Always plan,
Write down the sentence type your going to use during each bit, e.g. long sentences to show the difficulty in a task,
Write down punctuation your going to use, e.g. commas to create break in reading, slows down the reading and creates tension,
Variety of vocabulary (not the basics),
Start, middle and end plan,
How do you engage the reader?,
Use writing techniques like triples and one word paragraphs.
