Preterite

Present Progressive
A compound 2 part verb used to say what someone is currently doing
Present Progressive formation
Estar + -ando or -iendo (called the gerund)
Example:
Yo estoy hablando
Creer (present progressive)
Estoy Creyendo
Oír (Present Progressive)
Estoy Oyendo
Caer
Estoy Cayendo
Adjectives (In general)
Spanish adjectives go after nouns
How do Spanish adjectives change depending what noun they are modifying
They change gender and single to plural
Ex.
The tall girl
La Chica Alta
Ser
used to tell where someone or something is located, and to describe a permanent/immutable/inherit trait or characteristic
Estar
Used to tell where someone or something is located, and to describe a temporary state or condition, such as a feeling
Verb Gustar
You will always use indirect object pronouns w/ gustar
Ex.
I like pizza
(pizza pleases me)
Me gusta pizza
