• RAT Logic: Airborne, A/S 100k+, Loss AC Bus 1&2
• Deploy 8 secs
• Powers 4x Buses “Rat’s Nest”: AC ESS & AC ESS SHED, DC ESS & DC ESS SHED (via TR)
• Red MAN ON: Confirmation req’d & irreversible
  o Why? Get into emer elec configuration for smoke
• RAT Provides: 5 KVA + Blue Hyd (2500 PSI) [Requires system hyd quantity/fluid]
• Fault: RAT & EMER GEN “FAULT”: Conditions met but not powering
  o = Batt Power (BATT1/DC – Static Inverter – AC ESS Bus, BATT2/DC – DC ESS BUS)
• Fault: GEN 1 LINE “SMOKE”
  o Smoke condition in Avionics compartment
  o 2 associated lights in Avionics compartment (BLOWER & EXTRACT)
  o “OFF”, isolates GEN 1 from elec system, powers 1 pump each wing inner fuel tank
• EMER GEN TEST: MX only, test RAT circuitry
  o Test assures RAT circuitry in good op condition to distribute power to AC/DC ESS BUSES
