A

ANT: stomach, transverse colon
POST: potra hepatis structures, SMA and SMV, aorta, splenic vein, kidney, spleen

What is the pancreas’ blood supply?

A

MIXED BLOOD (despite being a foregut structure)

Common hepatic artery- gastroduodenal- superior pancreatoduodenal (ant. and post. branch)
Splenic artery- dorsal pancreatic and greater pancreatic

SMA- inferior pancreatoduodenal artery

What is venous, lymphatic and ANS distribution for the pancreas?

A

Venous- portal vein through splenic or SMV

Lymph: coeliac nodes and SM nodes (mainly coeliac)

ANS: Coeliac and to a degree SM plexi so greater and lesser splachnic with vagus

A

Gastrosplenic: Stomach to spleen, carries short gastric and gastro-omental vessels

Lienorenal- spleen to kidney, contains splenic vessels and the tail of the pancreas
