  • ventral and dorsal duct
  • recurrent abd pain, nausea, vomiting
  • acute and chronic pancreatitis
  • marjority drained by dorsal duct into minor papilla
  • treat with ERCP and pancreatic sphincterotomy

  • main duct, branch duct, and mexied subtypes
  • males and females ages 60-70
  • Located in head and tail
  • positive mucin stain
  • high amylase

  • IMV should be ligated if enters the splenic vein lateral to target lesion
  • IMV can be perserved if enters splenic vein medial to lesions or if it enters superior to SMV
