- patient education: involve MDT with midwives etc, birth planning,
Anaesthetic planning
- environment: chill, quiet, dark
- supportive people
- low-resource: breathing exercises, massage
- moderate: aromatherapyy, sterile water injection, TENS
- high: Nitrous oxide gas, Epidural block

GA only in high-risk pregnancy and c-section
