Why do we search and what are we searching for? (9 things)
For safety and location knowledge, we are searching for adults, children, animals, cars, buildings, warning signs, street names, turn signals, and road blockage.
Why do we signal and when do we signal?
We signal to let others know which way we are going. We signal before every turn.
List different hand signals and what they mean? (3)
Hand direction aiming straight to the left, means making a left turn. Hand aiming up, means to turn right. Hand aiming downwards, means to stop or slow down.
Why must we control our speed? List the approximate speed for one lane, two lanes, and three lanes.
We must control our speed to not get a speeding ticket, and to avoid a crash. 50-60 mph in one lane. 55-65 mph for two lanes. 70-80 mph in a three lane roadway. (not sure about these)
