paeds cardiac arrest: most common ECG finding
asystole
facial abnormalities associated with foetal alcohol syndrome?
smooth philtrum, thin upper lip, short palpebral fissures- is also associated with low birth weight
bronchiolitis
-non productive cough, tachypnoea, intercostal recession in infants less than 1 years old. Common in winter. Caused by Respiratory Syncytial Virus. Management: take child to hospital urgently= give humidified oxygen and NG feeds if child has been off feeds.
croup presentation
barking cough, stridor, febrile and coryzal symptoms.

duodenal atresia
- vomiting in 1st week of life since birth
-absence of passing stool
-duodenostomy= definitive treatment - is a congenital malformation where duodenum has a double blind end.
-‘double bubble sign’ on xray - distended abdomen
