What are the common features of Acute epiglottis?

A
  • sore throat
  • odynophagia (pain when swallowing)
  • drooling
  • hot potato voice
  • stridor (high pitched inspiratory noise)
  • respiratory distress (tachypnea, tripod, accessory muscles)
  • fever
