What age group is mainly affected by Acute epiglottis?

2-7 years
but most commonly in adults

What are the common features of Acute epiglottis?
A
- sore throat
- odynophagia (pain when swallowing)
- drooling
- hot potato voice
- stridor (high pitched inspiratory noise)
- respiratory distress (tachypnea, tripod, accessory muscles)
- fever
