- over 24 hours in children under 1
- under 3 months old

- More than 24 hours in baby less than 6 months old
- More than 48 hours in less than 2 years old
- Vomiting half their feed on 3 separate occasions over a 24 hour period

- Severe rash
- Signs of bacterial infection
- Treatment failure following 7 days of treatment
- Psoriasis
