pain at rest, non healing ulcers and gangrene

pale, pulselessness, painful, paralysed, par aesthetic, perishingly cold

handheld doppler , if signals present follow with ABPi

An ABPI above 1.3 can indicate
calcification of the arteries

stop smoking
statin + clopidogrel
exercise training
mx of severe PAD/ Critical limb ischaemia
endovascular revascularisation :
short segment stenosis < 10 cm
surgical revascularisation , stenosis > 10 cm
