Tip: Pain + CARDS (Crepitus, Adjacent structural injury, Redness, Deformity, Swelling)

  • Pain / Tenderness
  • Crepitus
  • Adjacent structural injury
    • Nerves
    • Vessels (arteries, veins, capillaries, lymph) –> Bleeding
    • Ligament
    • Tendons
  • Redness
  • Deformity
  • Swelling
