What does a straight line mean in a graph
The speed is constant
What does a horizontal line mean in a graph
Not moving
What does a steeper line mean
It is getting faster
What is the equation for velocity ? In a displacement time graph
Velocity = change in displacement/ time
How do you calculate velocity
Final velocity squared= 2 x acceleration x distance + initial velocity squared
What is the equation for kinetic energy
Kinetic energy=0.5 x mass x speed squared
Speed equation
Speed= distance/time
What is a vector and how do you represent it
A force, you represent it with an arrow the arrow shows size and direction
What is scalar
It has magnitude but no direction, like a stop clock would be a scalar factor
What is displacement and how do you calculate it
Displacement is how far you are from where you started, if you travelled 10 m east 10m north and 10m west your displacement would be 10m north
What is speed
Speed is scalar it is just a measurement
What is velocity
It is a vector it has direction, in velocity - equals R to L but positive number is L-R
What is acceleration, and what is equation
The change in velocity per second , acceleration = change in velocity/time
