How can energy be stored and what is efficiency?
A
Energy not used, only transferred. Can transfer by heat (conduction, friction) or work (mechanical, forces). Less energy wasted, more efficient. Increase, lubrication / thermal insulation.

How does our energy get supplied to us, from the sources to our buildings?
A
Transformers, makes voltage higher for long distance, reduces energy loss. Mains, AC (230V, 50Hz). Plug: live (carries voltage), neutral (completes circuit), earth (emergency, carries current).
