P11 Flashcards

1
Q

What is pressure

A

Pressure is when an object exerts forces on eachother. The pressure caused by any force depends on the area of contact on which the force acts, s well on the size of the force

Q

How is pressure used in hospitals

A

We know that shap knives cut more than a blunt knive this is because the front area of the blunt knife if more that the sharp one which means the sharp one has a much bigger cutting effect

Q

How can we use a bug bottle filled with water as an example of pressure

A

You can put holes on the bottle going down then you can clearly see that the bottom hole on the bottom of the bottle that the water comes put more faster/stranger than the ones above it
