In what publication do we find hand signals?
NA 00-80T-113
How long after landing should you wait before checking tire pressures? Why?
2 hours because they need to cool to get an accurate reading

4790/141
What is the form number for the DTA?
4790/38
What is the form number for the PC Designation?

What is procedure 1 of the Daily inspection?
Record outside air temperature for use later
Which flight controls are you inspecting for cracks, corrosion, and loose or missing hardware?
Flaps, Ground and Flight Spoilers, Ailerons, Slats, and Krueger Flaps
When inspecting the weapons bay and weapons are not loaded, what do you have to ensure?
the power switch is set to off and BRU hooks are open
What do you wipe the strut and actuator cylinders with?
DMS3-32 (type II)(also known as Aero 40)
Can you service a disconnected IDG?
No
Can you check IDG oil on a disconnected IDG?
No, you will not get an accurate reading
What lights are required to operate for flight?
All exterior lights and all emergency lights. (emergency lights, wing tip strobes, red and green position lights, Anti-collision lights, retractable and fixed wing landing lights, taxi lights, runway turnoff lights, and wing illumination lights)
How many DC volts are you looking for on the DC meter?
22-30
During the Turnaround Inspection, what condition are you looking for when inspecting the 12 person life raft?
That it is secure
Why must you use your body weight on the seat when adjusting the recline function?
If you don’t have body weight in the seat while moving it, damage can occur
Where is the PCMCIA card installed?
MFDAU (Multi-function Data Acquisition Unit)
What does PCMCIA card stand for?
Personal computer memory card international association
What are the servicing limits for the Hydraulic System?
The reservoir gauges must not pass the full mark or below the RF line
What should the brake precharge be?
1000 psi nominal pressure, or according to chart
What two types of power does the APU provide?
Pneumatic and electrical
What type of hydraulic fluid is used on the P-8?
Skydrol
How many hydraulic systems are there on the P-8? What are they called?

What is the preferred method to service the Hydraulic Systems on the P-8 according to the ULSS?
Hand pump
Can you drop flaps using electric hydraulic pumps with a 1000 lbs of fuel in each Main tank?
No, because you need a minimum of 1675 lbs of fuel to use the Hydraulic pumps or else you will cause damage to the Hydraulic system. Hydraulic cooling.
How do you properly open the weapons bay door (from what location)?
From the ground maintenance panel
Can we open the weapons bay door from the flight station? Why or why not?
Using flight station commands a higher rate flow for the hydraulic system that the electric pumps cannot provide. The flight station switch may only be used with engines online (engine driven hyd pumps) or with a hydraulic power cart. It can damage the pumps.
What pin must be removed before clearing WBDDS (weapons bay) faults?
Weapons bay door pin
How many fire bottles does the APU have?

What is the procedure of the DC boost pump on APU startup?
A dc-operated APU fuel boost pump is installed to ensure positive fuel pressure to the APU fuel control unit. During APU start and operation, the pump operates automatically when the aircraft fuel system pressure sensors detect low fuel pressure. The pump shuts off automatically when an ac fuel pump pressurizes the fuel manifold. If the ac and dc fuel pumps are not operating fuel is suction fed from the No. 1 tank.
