  1. hyperbole- presenting himself to be more powerful than he really is.
  2. symbolic- he worships power so much that he wants to title of king to boost his ego even more
  3. juxtaposition- he’s claiming he’s so powerful but two lines later he’s saying how nothing remains. also saying he’s god like but if he was so god like whys he dead and whys his statue in the middle of the desert.
  4. alludes to the bible as jesus is referred to as the king of kings this shows how he views himself as god-like
