shattered connotes to class and highlights how his empire no matter what can never be rebuilt as it had completely been destroyed
shattered connotes to glass, glass is extremely strong but when it breaks it is unfixable highlighting that Ozymansias’ reign had been eradicated and any attempt of him to work his way back to his once high status is futile

oxymandias has no stability nd nor roots for him to re grow and re establish himself. ultimately he will die like a tree decays and will decay in peoples mind suggesting he will be completely forgotten. Trunk is like the spine of a tree this insinuates that Ozymandias had no one to continue his legacy and make sure he is always a prominent figure in peoples mind.

ozymandias will never be saved there is no one to help him hinting at his hopelessness. in order to get out of the sand he would need the help of others implying eh and become an inferior and is dependant on others to even become the ‘‘king of kings’’ the author presented him to call himself
the people he used to not care about will now relinquish him. he will be forever abandoned.
'’stretch far away’’ he is deep and forgot in peoples minds.

the short single stanza reflects the lack of impact Ozymandias not has as result go his abuse of power.
