The extra meaning or feeling a word has, besides its basic definition.
Example: The word “home” has a warm, comforting connotation.

Changed to look or feel more like a city.
Example: The small town became urbanized with new buildings and businesses.
Impending
About to happen soon.
Example: The dark clouds showed that a storm was impending.
Amiss
Not right or wrong; something is off.
Example: Something felt amiss when I walked into the quiet room.
Multifaceted
Having many different parts or aspects.
Example: She is a multifaceted person, skilled in art, music, and dance.
Orientation
An introduction to a new place or experience.
