Cross Ock st roundabout go up the hill, Spring rd, past The White Horse.
Turn left into Farringdon rd then left again down Barrow road.
Past the POW pub and barracks. Turn right at junction onto Farringdon rd.
Continue to Gozzards Ford, past Black Horse pub (vis. A Black horse cross the road in front of you, canters into Black Horse lane up to the Cothill National Nature Reserve).
Turn right at Oxford rd/A338 then immediate left into Abingdon road.
Then on to A420 (Tom Sim in shroud [for Stroud] on roller hockey blades with NASA).
Past MandS. Hills to south, running parallel almost, the North Wessex Downs, as we swing by Swindon.
Upto Cirencester on A419 then across the Cotswolds (vis. 419 Tom gets in tub, nasa depart)(When Tom reaches Cirencester he puts on siren on head to then cross cotswolds to Stroud)

The picturesque ruins of Minster Lovell Hall, a 15th century Oxfordshire manor house, lie in a beautiful rural setting beside the River Windrush. They include a fine hall, tower and nearby dovecote.
Minster Lovell Hall was built in the 1430s by William, Baron of Lovell and Holand - one of the richest men in England. It was later home to Francis, Viscount Lovell, a close ally of Richard III. After several changes of hands the hall was abandoned and eventually demolished in the 18th century, leaving the extensive remains that stand today.
