A carboxylic acid is formed
How can we tell that oxidation of alcohols has taken place?
When the primary or secondary alcohol converts to aldehyde/ketone then the mixture turns from ORANGE to GREEN
Do tertiary colours have a colour change from orange to green during oxidation?
No, because there is no C-H bonds to break
