Most of these rights are applicable to the states through the due process clause of the fourteenth amendment.

6) 6th amendment right to trial by jury
7) 6th amendment right to confront witnesses
8) 6th amendment right to compulsory process for obtaining witnesses
9) 6th amendment right to assistance of counsel in felony cases and misdemeanor cases in which imprisonment is imposed
10) 8th amendment prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment
11) 8th amendment prohibition against excessive fines
