A development of fibrosis regardless of cause that leads to architectural changes and the formation of nodules, decreasing hepatic mass/function/blood flow

How do we tell if an individual has developed decompensated liver cirrhosis
A
Any patient who has developed complications from their liver disease and should be considered for transplant

Alcoholic, autoimmune, viral, NASH, biliary cirrhosis, Primary sclerosing cholengitis, cardiac cirrhosis,cryptogenic, and metabolic conditions
