BLEED SOURCE rotary switch
BOTH ENG the left and right engine bleed valve is open if both engines are capable of supplying bleed air. The APU LCV is closed (normal operation)
- L ENG the left engine bleed valve is opened if the left engine is capable of supplying bleed air. The right engine bleed valve and the APU LCV are closed.
- R ENG is the same
PWR FUEL switch (APU)
- Pressed in ECU is powered, APU IN BITE (built in test) status message
- APU SOV OPEN status message
- Air inlet door opens
- APU RPM and EGT gauges are displayed on the EICAS status page
- Fuel pump comes on
PUMP FAIL portion of the switch light illuminates
Indicates a failed APU pump
SOV FAIL portion of the switch light
Indicates APU SOV not in the commanded position
START /STOP switch light
- Pressed in ignition is activated
- Starter motor is energized
- Fuel shutoff valve opens

- APU START status message is displayed
L/R START switch light
- Pressed in, isolation valve opens
- Associated start valve opens
- START switch light illuminates
- L or R ENGINE START status message displayed
STOP switch light
Discontinues the start sequence by closing the ATS (air turbine starter) valve on the associated engine.
CONT switch light
Engages the continuous ignition
HYDRAULIC PANEL
Toggle switch 1 (1B)
Toggle switch 3A
Toggle switch 3B and Toggle switch 2(2B)
- AUTO position allows pump 1B to operate when it’s respective BUS is powered and at least 1 generator is online and the flaps out of the zero position
- ON position allows the pump to operate when it’s respective BUS is powered and at least 1 generator online, regardless of flap position
- OFF position pump is off
3A
- ON position allows the operation of the AC motor pump 3A
- OFF position, the pump is off
3B and 2 (1B)
1. Have the same operation as toggle switch 1 (1B)
LDG ELEV control knob
Pre-selects the landing field elevation
MAN ALT toggle switch
- Controls the cabin pressurization in manual mode
- UP/DN commands the cabin altitude to climb or descend
