Q

Give three general reasons for the turn card when not to over bet

A
  • Board pairs especially mid or bottom card
  • Flush completes
  • Straight completes (Unless you have a big edge in them normally if AK or AQ is needed to complete the straight in spots like BU v BB where they 3b those hands normally)

Q

What turn cards do we want to over bet on

A

Generally bricks or cards that improve our equity (non st, non flush completing) example
K74r a 2 is a blank did not improve them so we have strong hands and bluffs (polarised)
K74r a T improves are equity so is a mandatory over bet
