FAMMM syndrome
Familial atypical multiple mole melanoma which is a syndrome characterized by a high number of nevi usually 50 or more, a family history of melanoma, and mutations in the CDKN2A gene.
Patients have a increased risk for melanoma.
What is considered an atypical nevi?
Benign Moles with irregular borders, asymmetric, color variation, etc.
These moles are also called dysplastic.
What are indications for RT to the primary site?
Close or positive margin Satellitosis > 4 mm thick Recurrent disease PNI
