It works to complement or compromise conflicting views in a rather acceptable tenor.
Consensus and compromise
Politics takes place at every level of social interaction. (family, church, school, community etc.) In
essence, it is power.
Politics concerns the production, distribution and use of resources in the course of social existence.
Power, in politics, is understood as a degree of dominant relationship over another that is the ability of
the possessor to manipulate the behavior of others. “power over another”

Presence of varying views, interests, conflicts
Politics working inside the government people, organizations, social activities to promote balance of
conflict and compromises
Politics working outside the government do not promote balance
Neutral (non-political)– refuse to meddle (in general sense like churches, businesses, families, schools)
Society
To study politics is in essence to study government.
This is in terms of the conduct and management of public affairs, resolution of conflicts through
consensus or compromise, production and use of resources for welfare provisions in a society.

Science is knowledge – develop reliable explanations of phenomena through repeatable experiments,
observation and deduction.

It is an academic subject, regarded as a branch of philosophy, history or law

Public refers to the institutions of the government that are directly involved in the conduct of state and
political affairs. They are basically peddled by public finance generated through different means of
taxation.
It is a public activity where people may directly and continuously participate in the political life
(branches of government, police, social welfare system, army etc)
