- Streptococcus pneumonia
- Non-typable Haemophilius Influenzai
- Moraxella Catarrhalis
- Group A Streptococcus ( relatively resistant to Penicillin - UNCOMMON)

What is Ottis Media?
A
It is a suppurative infection of the middle ear cavity

What is the peak incidence range for Ottis Media?
A
Between 6 and 15 months of life

What are the clinical manifestations of Ottis Media ?
A
- Fever
- Irritability
- Poor - Feeding
- Otalgia ( Acute Ear Pain)
- Otorrhea ( Ear drainage) - after spontaneous rupture of the Tympanic Membrane.

What are clinical manifestations of a Middle ear effusions?
A
- Bulging of the Tympanic Membrane
- Limited or Absent Motility of the Tympanic Membrane
- Air- Fluid level behind the Tympanic membrane
- Abnormal Tympanic Membrane colour ( white ,yellow, amber)
- Otorrhea
- Signs of the common cold
