- Placement of a Word catheter
- Placement of Jacobi ring

If recurrent: Marsupialization
-excision is not necessary

Candida - vulvovaginitis

Fluconazole (Diflucan) 150mg single dose, repeat in 72hrs if symptoms persists.

If candida glabrata or candida krusei
- vaginal boric acid 600mg caps QHS for 2-3wks
or
- nystatin suppository 100k U QHS for 14-30 nights.
* if there is other bac present, treat the other bac first

• Metronidazole 500mg PO BID for 7 days
• metronidazole 0.75% vag gel, 5g applicator x5d (less SE than PO)

-Clindamycin 300mg PO BID x7d
-clindamycin 100mg vag supp QD x3d
