Truth
That which accords with reality or is genuine. The Hebrew Old Testament emphasis is on trustworthiness and reliability, supremely God’s. In the New Testament, Jesus is Truth. The church seeks to understand the truth of God’s Revelation in scripture.
King
Sovereign, prince, ruler. Christ called king of his church.

A subject or topic of discourse
Redemption
Means “buying back,” used to indicate atonement or salvation from sin through Christ
Agape
The self-giving love seen supremely in God’s love for the world and as a mark of the Christian life.
Trinity
The Christian church’s belief that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three persons in one Godhead. They share the same essence or substance, yet they are three “persons.”
Metaphor
A figure of speech in which a word or phrase literally denoting one kind of object or idea is used in place of another to suggest a likeness or analogy between them.
Viticulture
The cultivation of grapes especially for wine making
Disciple
A name given to the followers of any teacher
Canon of scripture
The biblical books constituting the OT and NT and considered authoritative by the Christian Church
Intercessor
A mediator; one who interposes between parties at variance, with a view to reconcile them; one who pleads on behalf of another
Ambassador
A minister of the highest rank employed by one prince or state, at the court of another, to manage the public concerns of his own prince or state, and representing the power and dignity of his sovereign
