What is the difference between codes and standards or guidelines
Codes are required, standards are expectations, guidelines are recommendations

Commercial codes are often more strict because it is for the public, there are more guidelines and regulations. They are required to follow guidelines such as the ADA

strip method, sizes vary depending on type
EX: american roll will cover about 30 sq ft, subtract half roll for every door or window, if its metric add an extra roll for every 4 rolls
