Compassionate, satisfied when helping others, carer for nan which is fulfilling
Why NHS?
Passionate about quality patient care, although NHS has challenges it is still the best environment for making a difference
How would you deal with an aggressive/ poorly/ rude patient?
Maintain dignity, document everything, speak to senior if any queries, patient centred care, respect, safety, compassionate
Infection control
Hang hygiene, sterile procedures, don’t work when sick
Dealt with a difficult patient?
Dementia patient nobody liked working with as he was deemed as “difficult” I sat with him and spoke about his tattoos and he became a totally different person
Working well under pressure?
I have managed a bay of 4 in A+E caring for 3 septic patients, and the other one was a floppy baby
