What is meant by “design and architecture” as far as apporach to clinical preventive services?
A
- Clinics and hospitals must engage with the community
- Trials and studeies must be designed to ensure that people are included
- Make-up of the workforce must reflect the community it is meant to serve
I think this lecture was getting at the idea that changing the design of a system is easier than procuring more resources, even though both are important for equitable care
