Other limitations, notes, & cautions Flashcards
If N2 is 57% or less with OAT of -20°C or warmer, then
Do not accelerate above idle.
Max split between N2 at idle power on the ground
2% split
After all starts, do not exceed:
75% N1 for two minutes, or until all operating indications are in normal range
FFOD: if airplane has been COLD SOAKED (30°C or below) for MORE than 8 hours, then
The engines must be motored for 60 seconds & fan rotation verified prior to engine start
CRJ 200: if aircraft has been COLD SOAKED for more than 8 hours, then
The THRUST REVERSERS must be actuated until the deploy & store cycles are LESS than 5 seconds
Continuous Ignition must be used during the following (5):
- Takeoffs and landings on CONTAMINTED RUNWAYS.
- Takeoffs with XWIND component greater than >10 KTS (200 only!)
- Flight through MODERATE or HEAVIER intensity RAIN.
- Flight through MODERATE or HEAVIER intensity TURBULENCE.
- Flight in the VICINITY OF THINDERSTORMS.
Do not attempt a GO-AROUND maneuver after
DEPLOYMENT of the thrust reversers.
During landing, application of maximum REVERSE THRUST is NOT PERMITTED
BELOW 75 KIAS.
During landing, below 60 KIAS, reverse thrust must be reduced to
Idle (not above 30% N1).
The engine oil level must be checked within
3 MINUTES to 2 HOURS of every shutdown.
CRJ 200: If both engines are to be started using the APU BLEED AIR, then
The operating engine’s thrust must not exceed 70% N2.
CRJ 200: during APU start, what is maximum time allowed below 50% RPM
60 seconds
Maximum time ALL LANDING & TAXI LIGHTS are allowed on while stationary
10 minutes
TAKEOFF with fuel load in excess of _____ in the ______ tank is not permitted unless each ____ tank is above ______.
500 LB - CENTER - MAIN - 4,400 LB.
Take off with engine fuel temperature indications
BELOW 5°C is PROHIBITED.
