Progress has been slow of even reversed. The most vulnerable countries and people continue to suffer the most and the global response has not been ambitious enough. We are still not on track to end poverty by 2030.

The SDG progress report 2016 said that we need sufficient focus, effort, innovation and political commitment to reach the SDGs by 2030, however it can be done
