What’s significant about the London trading kill zone?
There’s always a trading opportunity with the London trading kill zone, which is 8am SAT.
DO we need the the algorithm to always close the imbalance completely?
The algorithm does not always completely fill the imbalance. It’s acceptable if minimum 50% is closed.
When should you never trade?
Between London close and New York open. This time frame is often referred to as the London lunch.
What is a mitigation block?
4 consecutive bullish candles form a mitigation block. Mitigation blocks provide good shorting opportunities if the overall bias is bearish.
What should be expected when price trades to some sort of premium or discount order block or gap?
Every time the algorithm trades to some sort of premium or discount order block or gap, it will need to accumulate more orders.
How should the FIB be drawn?
When buying, draw it from high to low. When selling, draw it from low to high.
What’s the purpose of the fib?
It outlines the premium and the discounts within a trading range.
What can happen when price trades to an order block?
Price can either:
1. reject, which should result in a retracement or a consolidation
2. trade through the order block. If the order bloc is engulfed, expect the trend to continue.
How should the OTE be used?
On higher timeframes, use it to look for rejection areas. On lower timeframes, use it to find entry techniques.
How should you use use daily rejection zones?
Daily rejection zones give your bias for the next few days until the target is hit.
