OTA - Odds Enhancers Components Flashcards
Strength
The stronger the move out of a zone, the more out of balance supply and demand are in that zone
Strength: Moveout
Series of leg candles with consecutive closing prices in the same direction, measured from proximal line to most extreme price of the move out candles
Strength: Breakout
measured from the base of a zone, if the leg-out portion crosses “beyond” (this means above or below depending on the type of zone) the Leg-In, it is considered a Breakout
Breakout of a Demand Zone
when measuring from the base, the moveout crosses ABOVE the preceding SUPPLY
Breakout of a Supply Zone
when measuring from the base, the moveout crosses BELOW the preceding DEMAND
(T/F) All moveouts are breakouts
False
(T/F) All breakouts are moveouts
True
Time
Small base = less time spent there, more unfilled orders, more out of balance the supply and demand is at that zone/price point.
Large base = more time spent there, lots of filled orders, supply and demand is very stable at that zone/price point.
Freshness
the measure of how far, if at all, price has entered the zone in question (analogy: double-dipping is not fresh!)
the fresher the zone, the higher the probability price will reverse direction in that zone
