  • -> Strep, Staph, Gm (-)

- -> Treatment: Vancomyin/Cloxacillin + 3rd gen ceph. Depends on if MRSA suspicious

A

Staph, Strep, rarely gm (-)

Treatment: Cloxacillin/Vancomycin. Add on cefotaxime if not immunized to H. flu

- -> Treatment: Cloxacillin or cefazolin.

  • -> Anaerobes, Strep, Staph, gm (-)

- -> treatment: Clindamycin (i.e. gets gm (+) b/c can target MRSA and anearobes) + gentamicin
