What is the osi model?
Splits a network into 7 layers to simplify its design.
What is the first layer?
Application which allows us to access the layer.
The second layer?
Presentation which displays data that other devices can accept and understand.
The third?
Session which establishes a connection between computer allowing data to be sent.
The fourth?
Transport which breaks down data into smaller data packets.
The fifth?
Network which is responsible for addressing and routing data packets.
The sixth?
Data links which handles transmission errors.
The seventh?
Physical which converts data packets into bits so they can be transfered.
