Rib 1 (inhalation)
- Pt: supine
- Dr: @head
- @side of dys on anteromedial part put closest hand
- Flex, ST, RA from dys
- push down in exhale, resist inhale
- repeat 3-5 times
Rib 2-6 (inhalation)
- pt supine with flexed to rib dys
- Dr. @ head
- flex, ST
- Dr. hand web above dys rib
- push down exhale, resist inhale
- repeat 3-5x
Rib 7-10 (inhalation)
- Pt supine with same side shoulder adducted
- Dr on side of dys
- Dr hand web above rib
- ST
- push down exhale, resist inhale
- repeat 3-5x
Rib 11-12 (inhalation)
- pt prone with legs ST dys
- Dr. on opposite side
- head hand - inferior angle of rib, feet hand - ASIS on side of dys
- pull up on ASIS all the time
- push up exhale, resist inhale
- repeat 3-5x
Rib 1-2 (exhalation)
- pt supine with head RA from dys with pt wrist on forehead
- Dr. on opposite side
- head hand - highfive pt hand, foot hand - reach under body to hold angle of dys rib
- Dr. pull down and out when pt flexes head for 3-5sec
- relax pt
- pull down and out more, repeat MET
Ribs 3-5 (exhalation)
- pt supine with same side arm flexed above head
- Dr. opposite side
- Dr. hold under pt at rib angle dys with foot-hand
- pt push arm up and dr resist while pulling rib down and out
- hold for 3-5sec and relax
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Rib 6-8 (exhalation)
- pt supine with same side shoulder dabbing
- Dr. @ on same side
- head hand - hold rib at angle on back
- foot hand - resist pt pushing elbow towards sky
- hold for 3-5sec and relax
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Rib 9-10 (exhalation)
- pt supine with same side arm out to side
- Dr. @ on same side
- head hand - hold outstretched arm and stabilize elbow
- foot hand - hold rib on back
- pt push arm down to side, dr resist, hold for 3-5sec and relax
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Rib 11-12 (exhalation)
- pt prone with legs SA dys
- Dr. @ on opposite side
- head hand - hold rib with karate chop part
- foot hand - iliac crest on side of dys
- push hip down while pt hike hip up and press up on rib, hold for 3-5sec and relax
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Anterior Innominate Rot MET/ART (supine)
- pt supine
- Dr. on same side and passive flex hip/knee to barrier
- pt push against dr, dr resist 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Posterior Innominate Rot MET/ART
- pt supine with dys side close to edge
- Dr. on same side
- head hand - hold opposite ASIS
- foot hand - extend pt leg/hip off table to find barrier
- pt pushes up, physician pushes down
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Inferior Innominate Shear MET/ART
- pt supine with feet off table
- Dr. @ foot of table
- hold above ankle on side of dys
- IR, ABducts leg and put on dr thigh
- push into hip and pt push into dr hold for 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Superior Innominate Shear MET/ART
- pt supine with feet off table
- Dr. @ foot of table
- hold above ankle on side of dys
- IR, ABducts leg
- pull hip and pt hike up hip for 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Inflare Innominate MET/ART
- pt supine with feet off table
- Dr. on opposite side
- pt have dys hip/knee crossed over like newspaper
- head hand - pt ASIS, foot hand - knee
- push into knee barrier and pt push into dr hold for 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Outflare Innominate MET/ART
- pt supine
- Dr. on opposite side
- pt dys hip/knee flexed like leg cross
- head hand - PSIS on dys side, foot hand - knee on dys
- dr pushes out, pt pushes in 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat MET
Pubic Dysfunction compression

- pt supine with both knees up in air, feet on ground
- dr push out knees
- pt push in knees
- hold 3-5secs and relax
- find new barrier and repeat MET

Bilat sacral flexion MET
- pt prone
- dr on a side
- hands cup ILA (foot hand lower)
- push ILA down and toward head during pt inhale, resist exhale
- repeat 3-5 breath cycles
Bilat sacral extension MET
- pt prone as a sphinx
- dr on a side
- head hand fingers in both sulci, feet hand on top
- resist on pt inhale, push sulci down and down during exhale
- repeat 3-5 breath cycles
Unilat sacral flexion MET
- pt prone
- dr on side of dys
- head hand cup sacrum with fingers at base
- put pt IR and ABducts leg/hip
- put other hand on top of sacrum hand push down and up on ILA (heel of hand) during inhale, resist in exhale
- repeat 3-5 breath cycles
Unilat sacral extension MET
- pt prone
- dr on side of dys
- head hand cup sacrum with fingers at base
- put pt ER and ABducts leg/hip
- put other hand on top of sacrum hand push down and down on sulcus (heel of hand) during exhale, resist in inhale
- repeat 3-5 breath cycles
Forward Sacral Torsion MET
R/R or L/L “better together, face on leather, two feet together”
- pt modified sims (face on leather) axis on leather
- pt hips and knees flexed to 90
- Dr on leg side touching L5/S1 flex until feel motion
- bp deep breath 3xs while reaching opposite arm
- put pt knees on dr thigh (sit) and lower to floor
- pt push up, dr resist for 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat
Backward Sacral Torsion MET
- pt lateral recumb (face to air), axis on leather
- pt hips and knees flexed to 90
- Dr on leg side touching L5/S1 flex until feel motion
- bp deep breath 3xs reach back arm over bench
- push top leg only down
- pt push up, dr resist for 3-5sec
- find new barrier and repeat
Bilat sacral extension BLT
- pt supine
- Dr on a side
- cup sacrum under butt
- lift apex up
- hold breath in best phase
- find new barrier and repeat x3
Bilat sacral flexion BLT
- pt supine
- Dr on a side
- cup sacrum under butt
- lift base up
- hold breath in best phase
- find new barrier and repeat x3
Forward sacral torsion BLT (supine)
- pt supine
- Dr on same side as sacral base rotation
- cup sacrum under butt
- lift base on side of deep sulci up
- bridge ASIS’s
- hold breath in best phase
- find new barrier and repeat
Forward sacral torsion BLT (seated)
- pt seated
- Dr behind pt
- monitor sulci
- extend pt back, RT sacral rot, SA sacral rotation
- hold exhale
- recheck and repeat
Backward sacral torsion BLT (supine)
- pt supine
- Dr on of sacral rotation
- cup sacrum under butt
- push up on side of deep ILA
- bridge ASIS’s
- hold breath in best phase
- find new barrier and repeat
Backward sacral torsion BLT (seated)
- pt seated
- Dr behind pt
- monitor sulci
- flex pt forward, RT sacral rotation, SA sacral rotation
- hold inhale
- recheck and repeat
Posterior Innominate Rot BLT
- pt seated
- Dr seated in front of pt
- push leg of posterior side and pull other leg
- pt rotates to side of leg push
- hold inhale for 5-10 sec
- recheck and repeat
Anterior innominate Rot BLT
- pt seated
- Dr seated in front of pt
- pull leg of anterior side and push other leg
- pt rotates to side of leg push
- hold inhale for 5-10 sec
- recheck and repeat
