4mg/kg
7mg/kg if w/ adrenaline
60kg patient
= 24ml 1%
= 42ml 1% + adrenaline
= 12ml 2%
1ml Adrenaline (1:200000) = 5ug
60kg pt max dose adrenaline: 120ug (24ml)
Signs of LA toxicity
- CIrcumoral numbness
- Lightheadedness
- Dizziness
- Visual blurring
- Tinnitus
- Coma
- Seizure
- VF
Sutures
Absorbable: Catgut, Vicryl
Non-absorbale: Prolene, Nylon
Remove in 1wk (HN)
2wk (Limbs)

On inspection, there are multiple lumps on the back
The largest one is on the right, which is oval shaped, 2cm in size with smooth surfaces
The overlying skin looks normal
No scars
On palpation, there is no tenderness, the consistency is soft
It is mobile and does not attach to underlying tissue The edge is smooth.
There is some fluctuation but no transillumination
