  • I’ll lower your chair as if you were at the dentist
  • Let me know if the light is too bright
  • Blink as you need, just try to keep your eyes wide
  • Change your gaze, I’ll hold your eye lids when you look down

White light corneal scan
- Thin beam 45’
NaFl Scan
- Full beam 0’ blue
Anaethetic
- Not pregnant/breast feeding/allergic
- Dont rub eyes
- Record drops and time
Place probe
- Cleaned with surfactant, saline, 1/10 bleach, wiped with alcohol
- Full beam and intensity 60’ blue
Redose NaFl
Set barrel to 10
Px looks at knob
Blink as they need, just keep eyes wide
Bring probe in contact
Note circles
Bring probe off and adjust until inner circles connect
NaFl recheck
