IOC - Initial Officer Course:
- After Graduating my Uni course, go into IOC
- 12 Weeks living on base at RAAF Base East Sale
- Split into 3 phases
1st Phases of IOC | Initial Officer Course
Phase 1 - Military Introduction:
- Based on themes of Value based behaviours, self leadership, team membership
- Explored through collaborative problem solving, self mastery, resilience building
- Weapons Quals and martial skills
2nd Phases of IOC | Initial Officer Course
Phase 2 - Education:
- Learning about leading military teams, managing workplaces and apply critical thinking
- Themes of moral courage, moral judgement and exploring scenario based learning and facilitated decision making.
- Air and space power immersion in a joint environment
3rd Phases of IOC | Initial Officer Course
Phase 3 - Application
- Consolidation of previous learning
- Apply skills in practical leadership exercises
- Themes of values based behaviour
- Develop Officer Qualities
