65 y/o man suffered a fall and presents to A&E with pain in the groin radiating to the knee. He is unable to weight bear on his right hip. The leg is shortened, abducted and externally rotated.
Give differential diagnosis, investigations and management.

-Hip fracture
-X-ray, AP and lateral
-Anaglesia, operation followed by early mobilisation
