How did he create psychology?
In 1873 he published the first ever book on psychology. In 1875 he established the first ever psychology lab at Leipzig university. In 1879 he founded the institute for experimental psychology
What is introspection?
The examination of your own thought processes
How did he use introspection?
He got researchers to examine their own thoughts for things like feelings, emotions and sensations
What did he find out about this study?
The reports could not be replicated and were therefore unreliable as the experience was too subjective (based on one persons opinion)
How has psychology developed about a science?
Psychologists can apply the scientific method to their work and use empirical methods to tests their hypothesis

The science of mind and behaviour
