introduced the evolutionary theory which also contributed to the development of psychology as a scientific discipline.
what are two main assumptions of wundt?
- that psychology can be studeid as a science
- that the mind can be studied and looked into by introspection
why was wundts approach so groundbreaking?

what did wundt mean by introspection and how did he measure it?
he taught people to carefully and objectively as possible analyse their own thoughts and mind.
he trained people to self-reflect so that, when presented with stimuli (music), they can explain their thoughts, feelings, experiences and sensations.
conditions were very controlled.
what is empiricism?
the idea that all learning comes from only experience and observations.
