Middle fibers: acromion of scapula
Posterior fibers: spine of scapula
I: Deltoid tuberosity
A: Anterior: flexion and medial rotation at shoulder
Middle: abduction
Posterior: extension & lateral rotation

O: Long head: glenoid fossa-superior lip
Short head: Coracoid process, scapula

A: Weak shoulder flexion, flexion at elbow and supination of the forearm

A: flexion and lateral rotation at the hip, weak knee flexion

O: Long head: Ischial tuberosity
Short head: Linea aspera
I: Lateral tibial condyle, Head of fibula
A: flexion at the knee, extension at the hip (long head only)

I: Medial surface of proximal tibia
A: extension at the hip, flexion at the knee
Semimembranosus
O: ischial tuberosity

Gluteus maximus
O: posterior ilium, sacrum, coccyx
I: gluteal tuberosity of femur, iliotibial tract
